My name is Laura Fedorchuk. I am entering my 22nd year in education. I moved to the United States in 1998 after receiving my Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. I have experience teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. I obtained my math endorsement and my special education certification add-on. I also received my gifted endorsement in 2002 and have specialized in gifted education since 2008.
My family is very involved in the Forsyth County community. My husband, Curtis, and I have two amazing kids. Copelyn is currently in 7th Grade at Hendrick's Middle School and my son, Cole is attending the University of Alabama Birmingham focusing on Immunology. Forsyth is a great place to be and I am proud of be a teacher at KME!

Hi Colts, I am Stephanie Sumner. I'm thrilled to be starting my thirteenth year at Kelly Mill, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for education. With 22 years of teaching under my belt, I've taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, 5th grade gifted math, and gifted resource, showcasing my versatility and dedication to student growth.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University and hold both Math and Gifted Endorsements. My approach to teaching is centered around making meaningful connections with my students, challenging their thinking, and fostering their development.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joe, and our two wonderful daughters. My oldest daughter, Samantha, is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, while my youngest, Sydney, is currently a pre-med student at Auburn University.

I'm looking forward to another exciting and fulfilling year at Kelly Mill!
