Hey Huskies! My name is Tori Arnold. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in the Spring of 2021. I have a husband named Garrett, who I married in October 2020. Together, we have 3 cats, a big tank of fish, and a spotted leopard gecko! We welcomed our first child Rhett into the world in February 2022! When we have free time, we like to go on trips, hang out with friends and family, and watch movies (Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings are our favorites). I absolutely LOVE being a teacher. Creating a classroom that allows students to feel loved, seen, and heard is my main goal. I previously taught 2nd grade in Hall County. This will be my second year in 3rd grade and at Haw Creek!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Barrilleaux! This will be my first year teaching 3rd Grade at HCES. This is my 9th year teaching at Haw Creek!

Many of you may know me as the Drama/Theatre Specials teacher, but I have taught various grade levels throughout my 14 years of teaching. I look forward to a fun and creative year with my students!

My husband and I are originally from Louisiana and are huge LSU fans! We have 3 children with one still in Forsyth County Schools. Sydney and Ethan recently graduated from the University of Georgia. Reid is 15 and a sophomore at South Forsyth High School.

I enjoy hanging out with my family and watching college football, especially LSU. My favorite season is Fall. We are happy to be back in Georgia, as we lived in Newnan for 6 years before moving to the Midwest, near Cincinnati, Ohio.

I look forward to a great year here at Haw Creek!

Hello Haw Creek Huskies! My name is Jeanne Buckman and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Haw Creek Elementary as I start my ninth year of teaching. This is my neighborhood school and I may be a little biased, but I think it’s the best!
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSED in Early Childhood Education. I taught in Fulton County before moving to Forsyth County to have a family. My husband, Marc, and I have been married for 24 years. We have two kids, Mulaney and Max, and one dog, Caper. When I’m not teaching I really enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and reading a good book on my front porch swing.
The 2024-2025 school year is going to be an amazing one and I can’t wait to get started! I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces in the halls and meeting new ones. Please make a point to stop by my room and say “Hi!” See you all soon!

This is my twelfth year at HCES and seventh year in 3rd grade. I graduated from UNG with a BA degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont State College. I grew up in Forsyth County and attended Forsyth County Schools for elementary, middle, and high school. I am recently engaged, and I am excited to be planning a wedding in addition to teaching this year! I enjoy teaching and building relationships with my students to help them learn and grow. I look forward to an exciting new year!

Hello Huskies! I am excited to be returning to third grade for the 2024-2025 school year. My educational background includes a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley University, and an EDS from Piedmont University. This will be my 12th year at Haw Creek. I have experience teaching multiple grade levels including 4th Grade, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade, and Kindergarten.

My husband Greg and I have 2 daughters. My oldest daughter attends Alliance Academy, and our youngest daughter is at North Forsyth Middle this year. We also have a very active dog that loves to constantly steal our socks. As a family, we all enjoy spending time at the lake.

I am happy to be teaching at Haw Creek, and I look forward to a fantastic year with you and your child.

Welcome 2024-2025 3rd Graders !
I'm so excited to be teaching in my 9th year. This will be my 3rd year in 3rd grade. The golden year. I got my 4-year degree from Kennesaw State University and my masters from Valdosta State! I have my reading and ESOL endorsement as well! My husband Cody and I live in East Foco with our 3 boys, Hudson (6 y/o), Colton (4 y/o), and Landon (6 months old ), as well as our 3 dogs, Tizzy, Mocha, and Tucker. We spend our time at the ballpark playing some sport (baseball, football, soccer), or we are out camping. I love drinking coffee and enjoying some time outside!

I graduated from Brenau University with an Education Degree, after staying home with my two girls who are 24 and 21. My husband and I moved to Cumming shortly after meeting at Georgia Southern University where I received my Recreational Therapy Degree and a Minor in Music. Taylor, 24, is a nurse a Northside Forsyth Hospital. Tori, 21, is a Senior at University of Georgia studying to be a Speech Pathologist. We have two sweet little dogs, Jett and Samson. I have worked at Haw Creek Elementary ever since the doors opened. I have taught 7 years of 3rd grade and 5 years of 4th grade. Currently, I hold a math specialist degree. I am looking forward to working with your children this year in 3rd grade. Go Huskies!
